Story
Chow Ti is a poor labourer struggling to put his young son Dicky through school. Dicky is often bullied by other students because he is poor and his marks are very bad. After an argument because he could not buy Dicky a present, Chow a green orb while scavenging in a junk yard that he takes home for Dicky. The orb transforms into CJ7, a small cute alien that becomes Dicky’s friend.
Ecstatic Dicky takes CJ7 to school where he expects his new alien friend to make him popular and pass all his exams. Dicky is sadly disappointed that his failure puts further strain on his relationship with Chow. The movie focuses on the continued struggles of Chow and Dicky and the tragic consequences for their small fragile family.
